Nice but could be better. There is so many people at the same time for swimming, could reduce the crowd. Wave pool was good and enjoyed. All swimming accessories is available at the reception at low cost. Staff is friendly and have a cafe during waiting time. Slides are good and again wait time is bit long. Kids pool is enjoyable for the little ones. Parking is free and got many available also at peak hours.
The new Climbzone is really good! Different difficulty levels love the beanstalk! That challenge & great staff. Kids found it easier to clip into the system than clipnclimp. We'll be back!
For 2 adults and 2 children it came to £26. Said you needed a bar code to bring if you weren't a member, so was frantically trying to print before leaving but sadly the printer packed up so risked it and went without! To find I didn't need one. Luckily we were part ready to get in the pool as the changing rooms were wet and we found it difficult to all get ready, after 15 minutes we were in the pool ! My older one enjoyed the slides, middle one and baby stayed with me. Then as we were starting to enjoy ourselves, the whistle rang and it was time to get out!! We hardly felt like we were in there long lol.
Previously visited here in the 1990s and going by the smell I'm not sure it's been cleaned since then. All but one slide was closed. The wave pool is small but has good size waves, and there's a good variety of pools for most ages. Family changing rooms were large but smelled really bad, and some weren't well lit. We'll only return once it gets refurbished and they keep on top of the cleaning.
Used to be a brilliant facility that Mansfield could be proud of. Since covid they've turned it into a joke. No swimming at all in midweek to give children something to do after school. Only 1 hour slots at weekends and school holidays which are always fully booked and heaving with people. If you factor in time to queue for the slides and getting changed, it's a ridiculously short time. There is no way of enjoying yourself while it's being managed in this way but hey, I'm sure someone is making money out of it so I guess they're not bothered.
Cold pools, dirty changing rooms and facilities, short duration swim time, and a mad rush to grab a changing room as your getting changed when the last lot are getting out the pool, not worth the money or aggro!!! Water meadows use to be a brilliant place to take the kids for a swim but as soon as I was made to wait to get into the pool I knew something had changed, what a letdown!
The time slot system is not working. Too many people pushed into very little time for the price. Some of the toddler activities within the pool were not working which is not on. Flumes we’re good but too busy to take advantage of your one hour slot.
Considering it's had a renovation...no different. £24 for 1 adult and 2 kids is redicolus. The white slide isn't a slide as you have to push yourself. Total rip off. Kids enjoyed it TBF but they don't realise they are being ripped off. Go elsewhere
Receptionist are very unhelpful and no updates from there end for any policies or anything. Ripped off £70 for not a single session because of no information at front end. Which is a long story. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
It was okay, wasn't too busy and the staff were all pleasant and attentive. You do walk into the changing rooms with your shoes on and then have to walk through the same area to get to the pool, so it wasn't the cleanest of places. But the waves came on as advertised and all the slides were working fine, with hardly any queue and most importantly the kids all enjoyed it.
