I was a little hesitant due to the reviews prior but found out that I shouldn't mind them at all. One day I found myself entering the store with a friend and found it's a fantastic hidden gem. The staff were so nice and if we wasn't familiar with any item, they explained what it was. You can get spices and herbs there and other different ingredients - in bulk. They have great dates too - better than what you find in the 3 general major supermarkets!nnIt's a small business so just make sure you check the Use-By dates on things like canned-goods etc. - as we all should, wherever we go.nnThey also have cold-stored goods, a meat shop, desserts/cake stands and all other manner of goods! Love and recommend.
It's absolutely a horrible and dirty place, with rude staff and many expired items. The shelves are a mess, too. I am wondering how they are still open and operating?!! I wish I could give ZERO STARS.. BEWARE!
As awesome as the products are, the customer service is just as bad. I bought three jelly packs which clearly said 3 for $2.99. The guy charged me $1.99 each. When I asked, he said this is American dollars, not for here as the product comes from India product package says made in Pakistan. I told him he needs to get rid of the price on the package as it is misleading. The discussion went on and on as to why he can’t do that, I gave up.
Terrible customer service. The person behind the counter is plain rude.
Great meat but I'm not sure if they sell it to public the last 2 times I went therea few weeks ago I waited at the meat department for 15 minutes and no service and a couple days ago went in there to get some steaks and no word of a lie I was standing there for 20 minutes there were 3 people cutting meat all knew I was there and no service seriously it was quicker to go out for tea I would have got a cooked steak in that time ii had to leave without my steaks after 25minmeats are great but very poor service
