Story

ZAO-SAN (Mt Zao) is located in the northern part of Japan where we are from. Mt Zao is loved by locals as a ski resort area as well as a refreshing place to visit every season.

Our objective is to introduce a wonderful array of well balanced and homely Japanese meals for the people of Perth inspired by this region.

Established by a group of Japanese people living in Perth and some food loving friends in Japan, at ZAO-SAN we aim to share our enjoyment of home-style Japanese cooking with our customers.

Our cooking methods are simple, but authentic. Variety is an important part of every ZAO-SAN meal and we always ensure there is lots of choice and flavour in every box.

Most importantly, ZAO-SAN wants to provide a delicious, homely, filling and satisfying eating experience for you - the valued customer.

Brilliant food and service. Many vegan and vegetarian options. It was a warm ambience with very hospitable service the taste of the food made the experience a lot worthwhile. The prices are reasonable as well. Must try.
