Went for a meal tonight. It was very busy. There was a function on plus a group of 20 school children and other diners. Staff were under the pump but very friendly and accommodating. Meals were served promptly and were delicious and plentiful. Photo of my arancini balls. Yum!
Caught the Courtesy Bus, the driver was very friendly. We ordered the Italian & ABC parmi absolutely beautiful. Our meals came out very quickly. Staff were all very nice. The club was very clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend to call in if staying at Warrnambool. Great experience. Good job everyone
Lovely staff obviously overwhelmed by the amount of people in attendance. Wait time indicates that kitchen staff were overwhelmed by the attendance. I've never done it before however I did have to ask for a replacement plate due to the fact that it was tepid not hot but then received a plate of hot food within 10 minutes. I have been here 4 times in 4 years and found the quality of the food to be declining over those 4 years will not be back again next year. That said the staff were absolutely lovely and fantastic.
Great food, great service, even picked us up from our hotel and dropped us back. Very friendly bar staff. Thoroughly recommended. The grunge band was unexpected. Great night out.

Won't go back here. Seven meals ordered, the first 2 arrived before the rest had even finished ordering. Other meals turned up at random, 2 diners were finished before the last meal arrived. Food overpriced, obviously precooked from frozen ingredients and very ordinary. RSL is a worthy organisation, shame it was let down by such sub-standard service.
Very disappointed with the service. One of our meals had a bug on the cauliflower. When we told a staff member, all he did was take the piece away with no apology or to offer replacement. Two of us had the risotto and it had no flavour at all. The pork belly was dry and the crackle was rubbery. We ordered a garlic cob loaf to come out before the meal. It came out at the same time and was still partly frozen . Asking for an ice bucket for a bottle of wine was like pulling teeth. One young waitress did find us an ice bucket and that is why we gave the review one star. We had been in the bistro for an hour and the staff were packing up chairs around us. It was only 8.15pm and we felt like we were being rushed. Will never be back
The meals were below average. Ordered 4 meals, 1 Barramundi was undercooked and rubbery 2 Kids spaghetti my 7 YO child said it’s too watery and tasteless. 3 porterhouse stake requested medium rare, it came out rare but the meat was tough and tasteless and the mushrooms sauce was very watery 4 salt and pepper calamari was super salty that my tongue was hurting The salad in all the dishes was not fresh. For me to bother and write a review this was bad as I went to eat at this place base on the “4.5 star” rating and that was no we’re near it. I will not trust any food rating of 4.5 start which most places in Warrnambool
Great atmosphere. Would love to have booked Xmas dinner as we have done at other RSLs. Always a good feed, including Senior's meals.
