Can't believe they are charging old age pensioners which Im not, I learnt while there ONLY two dollars LESS than the full entry price. Regardless of the location north shore thought that was a bit on the nose. Nice location. Old fashioned. Heard whip birds which is pretty incredible considering their elusiveness.
Amazing place! But someone did apparently poo in the outdoor pool. The lifeguard told everyone to hop out the pool while he tried to fish the poo out. Just then someone on the loudspeaker said “Please make sure your toddlers from age 1-4 are wearing a water nappy. Thank you.” The pool was then closed.
Overall great facility, a bit dated. The jumping board is cool. Manly Boy Charlton in Manly a bit more up to date overall, although no jumping board…
we visited January 2022. The facilities are fantastic but a filthy health risk, an absolute disgrace considering the current COVID climate, it looks like several months of mould build up and the hot bain-marie had a revolting build up of food scum.nWe were very disappointed with our local pool.
I hadn't visited in 33 years! Handy swim centre with great outdoor facilities for toddlers and young children. Shame the original 5m diving platform was removed. Other than that, the facility serves the community well.
