Love the rink especially now that I’m taking lessons although it can be a bit hard as smaller children are all over the place and sometimes get in the way, would be better if there was a private day for coaching lessons, customer service is ok and could use more work. Also a bit concerned about the large bumps on the ice from dripping water especially if someone were to fall on them. But in general pretty good and fair price

Has changed a little since last owners. Bit expensive was $18 for 3 hours which 3 hours was plenty. They have a toboggan slide (ice slide) which is a great idea to keep the place fresh and updated but it does cost $5 for 6 slides which is a over priced so no one uses it. I think a better idea would be to offer the toboggan slide as an extra which just cost $5 more on the admission fee for unlimited rides. This would make more sense because there is no additional running costs on the slide and more people would go that option. Would also have been good to have them run some games on the ice like red rover or other things. Would be a good way to "break the ice" with other skaters and get to know them. Was an ok place worth going at least once in this current state.

I love to ice skate so I try to come here regularly as it is the only place I can skate. However, the customer service is pretty average. It's not the best rink but it's a privilege for Townsville to have this facility.
