As a guest at an awards ceremony, I found the War Memorial Hall an ideal venue. There was plenty of room to seat a good sized crowd, and still leakage room for catering tables to be set up. The acoustics were good, the speakers could be heard clearly.

Although it was quiet, a very spacious and inviting place to either entertain a concert or a dancing event or a conference or an art show. The world is you oyster when it comes to doing what you please within its walls. A very pleasant place to visit.
A great facility that can cater to a variety of event types. Been to a shopping sale, concert and conference there. Well set up with plenty of space and parking.
Celebrated our 50th Anniversary for Te Atihau Whanganui beautiful venue. Downside was our kaumatua had to go downstairs to the restroom.
