5/10 @ 22:20 This was my 1st visit @ this little shop but it was Horrible!... Two Male Employees one Ginger tall guy another small Middle East looking guy both with beards... They were chasing each other around the shop, yelling at each other & making everybody very comfortable for the whole time when I was @ shop which was more then 30minutes...they both acted like 5years Old!!! = wheres manager? = why is nobody representing Tesco correctly?... I can see that I am not 1st complaining here... After we left shop one of the cashiers & security were caling ppl bck because they apparently their sale didn't go thru?! Absolute Joke?! They shall refresh their employees & bring some new once... I will not visit again! BTW what's restriction with car parking on the right side of the shop under trolleys? = there's no any sign at all?!?
Good selection but the staff here are incredibly rude. They’ve done everything from blaming me for a malfunctioning card reader to waving cardboard boxes in my face to tell me that the store was closing early one day.
Customer service here is great. Its not to overcrowded and has lots of parking. The only downside is they don't sell hot food anymore, except have the indoor cafe. I would recommend sainsbury only a few minute's from there and I hope my review saves you the trip if your after hot food from the deli counter.
The bald racist middle eastern man working there made me really uncomfortable several times now. One time I took some chocolate from the shelf next to an older white woman and he gave me the most prolonged hateful death stare as if I am a criminal for standing near her. How dare you. I am a paying customer like everyone else and you dont get to treat people like that just because they are young black women. I have the same right to shop and take up space. He would have never treated a white woman like that or feel entitled to such non-verbal aggression. The racism against young black people in the shops of this city is bad enough
Rude and Unprofessional Attitude from Tesco Staff Layla Shellie of Wells Street. Today at the Tesco Wells Street in London a staff by the name of Layla Shellie was very rude, loud and very unprofessional towards me in the present of my 18 months old son. I questioned the racial treatment towards me by closing the lane I was queuing for about 5mins and this is when she started yelling at me, talking rudely in the presence of her manager whiles I was complaining about her,she even accused me of taking her picture, which was unfounded. Tesco, is a store i and my entire family shop at and also club members. The customer service level should be higher standards than this and to have a member of your staff acting this way will make the entire staff look bad, and people like her should not be anywhere close to customers. Layla Shellie should not be serving in the public because of her bad attitude and Tesco need to take a serious look and investigate her actions towards me.
Il be completely honest with my review. This store is very clean and very much always stocked up! It can get busy during morning rush and end of school times. But generally it is very calm. The layout of the store is very easy and very spacious! Which makes it comfortable to manoeuvre during peek times. The staff here are very kind and friendly. Everyone here is treated with respect. Sometimes you may find some homeless people begging outside. Tesco always tries to remove them but they keep coming back. This is not the stores fault. Overall what a great store to do your shopping at. Shopping experience 5/5 definitely deserves 5 stars.
The staff are what makes this store. They have been there for years and are lovely.
This is the second time that I check closing time on Google, it says 11pm, so I go. Last time, I went in at 9:50, I was let in but then a security guy shouted at me that I have to go pay the entire time I was there 5.5minutes in total Obviously I didn’t get to buy much as he wouldn’t let me look at anything. Today, at 10:01 pm, I was told I couldn’t come in because it’s closed. I told them to check google, and amend the information. It’s a bad expensive shop that smells like something died there, but sometimes, when you finish work late, it’s the only choice.
Very good Tesco branch, perfect for weekly local shopping. Staff are very helpful and always look to assist in any way. Very secure ever since the new layout and has all essentials.
Today I had such a bad experience in there with the staff. The cashier ignored my greeting and there was underlying hostility all throughout the interaction including her ignoring me while I was waiting for her to tell me how much I need to pay. while I was looking at her waiting she kept ignoring me and finally told me but again an arrogant hostility all throughout. Makes me not ever want to come back. I dont know what this persons problem was but this was a very uncomfortable experience
