Sunday 21/8 booked outdoor area for 14 people to celebrate my husbands retirement what a disaster .. screaming unsupervised children running around .. Meals I have had previously at the club were very good .. Not to be I will only talk about my order veal Parma no topping but gravy on the side !! Chicken satay skewers no satay served with baked pumpkin n potato was a special of the day to be served with rice!!! Steak cooked to order but full of gristle!!! My family also had issues with their orders which I won’t even mention Coffee charged for large n got small not a happy member
Ashley from functions helped organise a corporate day with over 100 people. She was amazing , there was nothing she could not fix, food beautiful and delicious, room spacious and comfortable. I would definitely recommend W D for any function and hope to use again
Pleasant staff.a nice bright club open till 1 in the morning. The kitchen closes at 8 PM and when I ordered medium rare steak it was medium rare. I had a nice dinner arriving at 7.45pm. They have breakfast starting at 7am ehich is a bonus.
Will never attend this club again. Visited with a friend to have lunch & a play on the pokies. Pressed the drinks button & asked the staff if they had soft drinks for poker machine players as about 90% of not only clubs but most pubs which she said they do not, i asked how much a can of coke is & she said $5!! I ordered a pre mix middy which was $4, of course my friend, who drinks alcohol, immediately said he would have a beer then as the coke was near the same price. Great responsible service of alcohol, pricing soft drinks so high that patrons will opt for alcohol instead. I will be reporting your venue to the department of liquor & gaming.
Nicest people at the bistro we turned up right on closing time they were very accommodating the food was delicious thanks recommend this place 100 percet
I was shocked. Overpriced meals for an RSL 35 bucks for a piece of fish and few chips. Would not eat there again. 74 dollars for 2 meals. Ide expect to pay that at a restaurant not a bistro.
We hosted a first birthday party in the “Steak Room” on Sunday. The experience we had was fantastic. About to write an email outlining how well the event team were to the club as we were so well taken care of. The food on the day is a little pricey, $780 to feed a party of 40 and not much left but it was fresh and delicious. If you are considering a club venue for a kids birthday and you want private space near a playground, this was excellent.
Diggers is a great little RSL. They've just recently revamped their kitchen and have some fantastic offerings, including some of the best pizza in the hunter! Atmosphere is great and the staff are always friendly. Plus, they have my favourite beer, Asahi, on tap! Great spot for big gatherings too!
