Had a great first experience at Wallsend dental surgery ! Will be coming back for future visits ! The dentists and nurses were absolutely amazing to be around during the experience.
Just to finish my feedback Went to see Gavin Frynan on Friday after my 3/4 adjustment's with a very sore mouth and cannot eat food and he didn't even have a look he said he can't help me because I don't like them that isn't True They are very loose and don't fit I told him when I first picked them up they were loose he daid they will settle down They didn't I have had dentures for years these are a total waste of money and I still have no teeth GREAT HA How can someone be so mean What do I do now ????? Like a lot of people, I hate going to the dentist but Dr Rhys looked after me today when I needed an emergency appt for a cracked broken filling, and it was the easiest, most pain-free dentist trip I've ever had. I'll be back.
Amazing place to bring the family, the dentists are so kind and the staff is lovely too. Would recommend this practice for people that are new to the area.

Great dentists! Having had some bad experiences with dentists in the past, I did some research before choosing these guys. I have now been seeing Rhys for many years and have nothing but praise for what he's done with my teeth. I haven't had 1 painful visit yet and I haven't been pushed into having unnecessary fillings etc. done unlike other places. The price has always been reasonable too! Highly recommended!
I went to Wallsend Dental Surgery for a second opinion and I could not recommend these guys more! Dr Raj deSilva was just amazing. Whilst still taking professional care he didn't push for all this extra unnecessary work to be done and it's such a relief to not feel like I'm being scammed. Julie on reception is also a gem and so so helpful getting xRays from the previous clinic and assisting with referals. I'm not the most comfortable about dentists but everyone here made the experience so easy - I will defiantly be back to see them again and would 100% recommend. Thanks again to the team!
My entire family have been visiting Wallsend Dental for generations. We are always met with professional staff & service right from the reception staff, dental assistants and dentist. Everyone is so friendly and everything is explained. Overall a local business employing local people. I would strongly recommend this dental surgery.
Rushed check up's and an ineffective filling with a "Oh, everything's fine, stop worrying and get out of my chair so I can get more paying patients in" from Dr Rhys Collins has now resulted in a costly and rather painful root canal. When I approached Dr Raj DeSilva co-owner about it, he dismissed any wrong doing but still managed to put a better filling in just before he jetted off to his annual holiday in France. You get what you pay for at this clinic. It might be cheap to begin with but in the long run, the consequences are costly. ****Just in another UPDATE**** I've just had another root canal on a tooth Raj replaced a filling on. He didn't bother to tell me at the time that he had operated close to the root or that I should keep an eye out for future pain. The dentist that saw me yesterday actually panicked because she could see no other option than a root canal and that was too severe for her yet there was no other option for me. I had to go to another dentist who was willing to do the root canal. All up, each tooth Raj replaced a filling on has ended up in a root canal or an extraction. Raj IS NOT a preventative dentist. He quietly replaced my fillings with NO communication of what I could expect in the future and the future has been dire. NOT a recommended dental surgery if teeth are needing proper attention.
