The Walkerville Public Library, established in 1963, continues to grow and respond to the needs of all members of the community, at the same time maintaining a traditional style and flair, and offering exceptional library service.
As a member of the state-wide One Card Network, our partnership with other South Australian libraries means that we offer a very large and valuable collection to our community. Our library staff are always happy to assist with all information and reader guidance queries.
Recent expansions to our range of services and facilities, mean that we now offer ready access to the Internet, free WiFi, a Multimedia Collection suiting all tastes, good quality fiction, special appearances by authors, weekly Storytime sessions, School Holiday Programs, Book Groups, Housebound delivery and much more.
Walkerville Public Library is located alongside the Walkerville Council Office and Town Hall, (62 Walkerville Terrace, Gilberton) on the corner of Stephen Terrace.
