Great club. Master Tan is certainly a great instructor. Sadly had to leave this club due to time circumstances - but highly recommended if you want to get fit. Go 3 times a week or more if you want to show results quickly.

I have been a member of Waikato Thai Kickboxing for almost five years & I can honestly say this club & the people are like family to me - I even met my best friend through training here. Master Tan is an exceptional trainer & has had over 48 years experience in traditional Muay Thai which shows in his teachings. The teaching is broken down in a way that is easy to understand while still being detailed enough in the technique. The best thing about Muay Thai is there is always something new to learn no matter how many years you've been training. The club is very welcoming & members are always friendly & respectful of each other. With Master Tan's training I have acquired skills that I never believed I would be able to. I started here as a shy 16 year old girl & have grown in confidence thanks to Master Tan's constant encouragement. I couldn't imagine myself training at any other Muay Thai club.

WTK is an awesome club with great people that respectfully honors ancient Muay Thai techniques and traditions. Its a friendly training environment that welcomes people from all walks of life and all skill levels from beginner to advanced. A great place to achieve fitness goals whether it be to lose weight or jump in the ring, whatever it might be, Master Tan with many years of experience and a wealth of knowledge in the sport as a trainer is one of the best around. As a member of the club for the past 4 years I have learnt so many skills and still learning. A great place to train for mind, body and soul.

WTK is the best kick boxing gym in the Waikato. Master Tan has 40+ years experience teaching the traditional Muay Thai style of kickboxing - a style that has been honed over 1000 years. Muay Thai is the predominant striking martial art in modern kickboxing and MMA, and Master Tan is an exceptional technical trainer. Whether you want to improve your fitness, learn self-defense skills, or become a competitive fighter, WTK is THE gym.
