Waihi - New World

As an out-of-towner I was very impressed with the Friendly & helpful Staff, the quality of produce and the well stocked shelves. All checkout aisles were open and operating efficiently. So close to Christmas, amazing. Well done Waihi New World

This business buys the cheapest worst quality products it can and sells them for the highest price. This is especially true of their fruit and vegetables. They also constantly have short dated or out dated stock on the shelves which invariably you don't realise until you get it home. Don't expect any help or empathy from the staff if you make a complaint and good luck finding the manager. I will never shop there again and I'm a local. I will also make it my mission to encourage as many people as possible to shop somewhere else from now on.

Actually I wanted to give NO stars After giving New World Waihi many many chances they have now lost me forever as a customer. Their fresh produce is not fresh, and are not worth buying, but the worst thing is they sell products constantly that are beyond their use by date. I can’t remember how many times it has happened to me I have lost count. They have no empathetic responses or solutions when you make the trip back with a receipt in your hand to get your money back. They don’t care. They are happy for people to get sick on food that is way past it’s best. Good bye New World Waihi. I won’t be back.

i dont have gd things to say about this store but there staff or owner needs to try selling produce and meat that they would eat and be proud of the stuff they sell in there shop..cheap is what cheap gets then slapping a huge percentage on it..wont keep customers coming back..it drives them to go down the rd to the oppersitioners

A really effient and friendly experience.Not my local store but has everything except Inghams frozen chicken products.A trend in all stores i visited.??. major supply problems?. Prices are staggering from last year.much more than 6%?. staff are helpful and friendly.

Good specials, unfortunately not enough stock Lots of "out of stock" stickers. Could not get two of my essential items
