A great place to experience the birth of Australia and it's culture. The Time tunnel features how Australia was formed, how were it's first inhabitants and how it's developed over the years. You need to spend at least an hour or 2 to see and listen to all the great stories with the models set up.
Pretty cool!! Kids loved it. Bit pricey but if you live in PA, or visit regularly, you do get pass outs for a year which would make the price better.
Spent 1.5hrs with three kids under 7 who thoroughly enjoyed it. Gives a good history of the region. Good cafe attached.
Interesting story telling through the tunnel of time, audio visual display, educational for the whole family, recommend visiting when you are in port Augusta and have few hours to spare, family entry $50
A very interesting museum about the history of SA. My only remark- at the website its says that there is no fee entrance but when you get there you have to pay 22$ a person...
Absolutely magnificent! Kids and I both thoroughly enjoyed the display etc, and the food from the cafe was delicious!!
Fantastic journey through history and pre-history. The only other thing I would have liked to have seen is the post settlement experience of Aboriginal people in the area
Great museum time walk def worth a look! Very informative and with activities fornrhr kids and plenty of info videos
set some time aside for this one, it's well worth a visit. Plenty to read,listen and watch. the story takes you from the Gondwana times to today. for a family of 4 we paid $50 but at the exit you can ask for a 12 months time pass to return, that's already included in the price of the ticket.
