Very good value for money. Stay away, I like it quiet. Pool and sauna for one low price
I came today for the first time as I'm studying at VU and I was quite disappointed with the state of the pool and changing rooms. I've been to many swimming pools across Melbourne and many countries and I had never seen a place so abandoned. Definitely not expecting that from Victoria University. Changing rooms and showers are really old and seem to not have been painted/upgraded in years, as paint is peeling everywhere. Even on the walls of the pool and the bottom, the paint is so worn that it clearly shows the place is not well maintained. Such a shame, I've cancelled my subscription and won't recommend the swimming pool to anyone after a decent pool. The staff at reception which also are lifeguards are amazing tho, very helpful and friendly.
Used to be a great place to swim but now it is too busy. Between 4pm - 7.30pm there are 4 lanes for teaching, 4 lanes for squad. 1 lane for lap swimmers that is called 'recreational so little kids just keep jumping in and out. They may as well just close that one as well.

The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that during busy times, the parking can be a bit of a challenge. Other than that, I highly recommend this facility for anyone looking to enjoy a great swimming and sauna experience.
It’s a well spaced gym. Not all the newer style machines but every necessary machine is here to do every exercise including plenty of barbels and dumbbells, conditioning spaces and stretch spaces
