My experience with Dr Tan has been a good one, as she is kind, compassionate and takes the time to investigate issues fully. This does mean that the practice often runs behind schedule by 30 or more minutes.
Visited last Friday at 10.05 am for my 10.15 booking and got in the doctor’s room at 11.13 - surprisingly disappointing. I was told that there was an emergency with a patient before me, which can possibly occur once in a while and is understandable to some extent, but this case was not within that extent. Yes, it may not have been their fault but this can NOT be right, keeping their patients to wait for an hour who made a booking in advance and arrived on time. My plans got all delayed after thanks to this. Although I was indignant last week, I wasn’t going to give them one star until I found my symptoms got worse after following the Gp’s instructions. Based upon the former reviews below, I see I’m not alone but proving the point that here is definitely not recommendable. So frustrating that I wasted my time as well as money there and also have to find another Gp.
Very disappointed with the waiting time. It’s been the second time that we had to wait 30mins then being told doctors are running late and couldn’t tell how long they could see us.nnI mean if you can’t come to your work on time then why would you take customers that early?
Dr. Tan is very unprofessional how the way she treats a patient. Would not recommend this facility if you prefer to get overcharged and not get your problem fix. Management team/reception also don't seem care about it. Pls refer to other comments, no need to speak about Privacy Act if management is willing to fix the issue.
Dr Tan is highly unprofessional, arrogant and unempathetic. I have not met a more incompetent GP. I’ve been here to see her a couple of times as I don’t have much options.nnShe pushed tests that were irrelevant to my presented problems and told me they “should be covered” by my insurance. I have told her that I do not want to do the tests unless they were covered and have tried to clarify the possible costs for these tests. She told me that she isn’t sure but it should be covered. So i took her word for it and now i have to pay over $300+ for tests I didnt know the cost of.nnI also visited her for a common ailment and she told me that there was nothing she could prescribe to help me. I went to the doctor hoping to feel better but she basically just told me to let my immune system fight it out and earned $68 consultation fee for 5 minutes of useless information.nnI have seen countless feedback against Dr Tan but i don’t see the clinic doing anything about it.nnIf you’re thinking of booking in an appointment with this clinic, i urge that you look for other options and save your time and money.
