CRAZY and frankly insulting prices here ! I have shopped here in the past and it was ok but this trip was next level expensive! This is an opportunity shop NOT a boutique! I found a shein dress priced $15 and found it brand new online for $17.50 ! When I brought this to the assistants attention she just said ok and took it off me. When I went to finish my shopping I bought one thing would have bought more if prices where reasonable and the lady wouldn’t even speak to me she just put through the sale in silence. She obviously took my earlier interaction personally. Go spend your money at other OPPORTUNITY shops with fair prices !nPeople donate these items for free for the less fortunate and those struggling. These places need to remember the reason these businesses claim to exist.nnThe photos included are only a handful of ridiculously priced items.
An upmarket high end shopping experience.nBeautiful displays and quality stock with a stunning women's clothing section like a boutique store.nA great men's clothing section which is hard to find in some opshops.nAt the entrance are large crates to place donations into allocated bins.nA massive store fully air conditioned with a huge turnover of fantastic stock.nStock includes Antiques which not all stores have and dedicated areas for everything in sectioned displays..nClean and quality, prices are cheap with fair prices on collectibles.nThe volunteers are passionate and dedicated it shows in the presentation of this beautiful Vinnies store.nOpen 7 days a week for all your treasure hunting!!
Pick up curb side furniture with a 1000% mark up, they also got the latest lego for $90.nnThis a non for profit business, that is gifted millions of donations for the people’s welfare, your mission is selling it, to benefit the people in welfare, not benefit of those living in welfare.nnIm shocked and appalled
This place is the biggest rip off, not only are they way over price for the free donations they receive but I bought two items here today. One of them being $25 and the other $7. Not only do both of these together add up to $32 but the math is really simple. I was charged $33, I know it’s only a dollar which is why I didn’t say anything in store but it’s not the first time this has happened to me. So every time it does happen they’re still earning a bit of a profit still. Absolutely horrified at this store and I will not be returning. I’d give 0 zero stars if I could but for this they’re getting a 1.
Used to be a great store, but now it is prohibitively expensive. Definitely no good for families looking for affordable clothing, shoes and household items. I literally laughed at prices which included Kmart clothes priced more than retail. Wont bother going back. Shout out to the staff who are wonderfully friendly
