Been coming here for quite some time, I love the colour and category coordination, new additions such as the jewellery bags usually $5-7.nnMy personal favourite sections are the books, formal dresses, home decor and men’s shirts.nnVinnies prices haven’t changed too much with the surge of youth in stores as thrifting has become more popular which I’m glad about.nnVolunteers are always quite personable when you’re checking out.
Maybe I'm crazy but 2 times in a row now a staff member has listened in on my kids and I talking and being goofy and came up to us and trash talk us. I only can imagine it's a grumpy place to work and they are on edge. It's insane to me that someone would interject into us having our goofy fun when we are in no way being inappropriate or disruptive. Literally just talking about which Halloween weapons would be best for the zombie apocalypse.... Weapons by the way they are selling with they toys, weapons we are using literally talking about. If your grump, go punch a pillow, leave us to be happy.
I am always blown away by how friendly the staff are here. The store is always so neat and tidy. There is a large variety, and all very reasonably priced. Kudos to the manager for having such a wonderful team!
Great variety at this Vinnies store. They have a couple of really cheap clothing racks where I found some great items. The 5 books and 5 DVDs for $1.00 is fantastic. Other things like furniture, mats, shoes and kitchenware are far too expensive. I was shocked to see an old plastic Tupperware cake holder for $18.00. Isn't it better to sell at reasonable prices rather than have stock sitting around?
This is, in my opinion, one of the best oppies in Melbourne. Clean, extremely well organised and presented with quality products.
