Been coming here for quite some time, I love the colour and category coordination, new additions such as the jewellery bags usually $5-7.nnMy personal favourite sections are the books, formal dresses, home decor and men’s shirts.nnVinnies prices haven’t changed too much with the surge of youth in stores as thrifting has become more popular which I’m glad about.nnVolunteers are always quite personable when you’re checking out.
Kind, helpful and friendly staff, great prices, great donations!!! Would not shop anywhere else, calm atmosphere indeed!
I have truly never felt less connected to god than shopping in the Kilsyth vinnies. I could not believe the prices and it definitely is not accessible or affordable for those of us doing it tough which is what I thought the point of an op shop was. Tea light candles that would have cost $2 brand new at Kmart were priced at $5. A Kmart brand cutlery drawer organiser was TWELVE DOLLARS when I know for a fact it was only $5 brand new at Kmart I know because I bought it from Kmart when they released it 5 years ago. I recently escaped my abusive living situation and thought I was entitled to having a nicely decorated home, but when a small flimsy side table is $30??? It feels discouraging.nThis place is not holy, and the lord would be disgusted in the gluttony taking place here.nThe lady named Shirley that works there is the only positive.
This is, in my opinion, one of the best oppies in Melbourne. Clean, extremely well organised and presented with quality products.
Big shop. Surrounded by 2 other big op shops. Big range and everything priced fairly not like some of the other op shops around these suburbs. No disabled car parks that I could find though. So if you have a wheelchair you might want to get an edge car park.
