Last week I’ve found these awesome Tomy zoid model kits for $15 for the lot. The person that was trying to donate them to the store for a collector to make sure it was going to a good home. He was a nice person and was kind enough to get the other one from his car. As I’m waiting for the other one the shop owner was confused,rude and was almost about to not accept one of the donations thinking it was junk. I almost thought of telling him to take it all outside and I would pay him directly in front of the shop instead and make the shop keeper mad. These people have no idea how collectable Tomy Zoids are. The Tomy Beserk Furhrer, the Tomy Liger Zero, the Tomy Gairyuki, parts of Gorhex, and other miscellaneous things.
So overpriced! Tried to buy a jumper for my son with no price on it she tries to charge me $18 thats alot for single parents like me. Considering all the floods this area has had in the last few months, ontop of that Covid and the fires people are still recovering from this stores prices are ridiculous and the rudeness of the staff is unbelievable. Charity where ?
Very rude staff, I brought in 2 bags of donations, full of designer Items I had passed down to me in perfectly good condition, hats, shoes and clothes, only for the staff member on duty to tear open one of my bags, see a lone pair of Kmart heels and berate me for the quality of my items, loud enough that the rest of the customers were staring. At no point did she condider any of the other items I had brought in, and I had to try to convince her to look at the other items by pulling out a 60's makeup bag and 3 designer peices, which she took, then directed me to the church bin down the road. Even if it were trash, classless to imply its not good enough for Vinnies but is good enough for the poor people taking from the church bin. Terrible experience.
I'll be honest I'm mostly in a Vinnies for the books. This one doesn't disappoint. Great selection that gets a lot of rotation. Do my round every 2 weeks and there's always new stuff. As for the clothes, a bit on the steep side, and yes the store has quite the aroma. However, the staff are outstanding.
lots of stock on offer and prices are fair enough. some items i found to be a little overpriced and on my visit, noted some clothing that had stains, some small tears or seeing needing to be done if you enjoy this then it’s not a bother - i’m lazy they do have a small designer section up the front of the store that is of course more expensive but these prices are fair and this stock was good, some LV and nice ferragamo shoes :
The older woman that works there is always so rude. Also the most overpriced Vinnies there is in Sydney
This is a good little store that has a wide range of everything. There are a lot of good DVDs on sale there and the book collection is to die for. If you are on the Marrickville Road shopping strip, be sure to check this store out for a good bargain and some cheap, good quality clothes. 3 stars.
Found some great stuff here. Large variety and I found the prices quite good. And a lovely lady working there when I went. If I wasn't moving interstate I'd definitely go to this Vinnies again.
I like to visit op shops and this one has friendly staff and a lot of stock. Prices are way up there though and this particular store has more of an 'aroma' than other second hand stores.
A delightful little store in Dulwich Hill that is clean and spacious. Their pricing structure seems to be pretty good with a few bargains to be had for those who are prepared to look.
