Bought what I thought was a king size sheet set because it was in its original packaging labelled as having 2 pillowcases, a fitted sheet and a flat sheet. Appeared to be 100% cotton. Got home to discover that not only was the flat sheet infested with spiders, the fitted sheet & pillow cases were not included. Pretty disgusted that they willingly false advertised like this & I got completely ripped off paying $20 for what turned out to be a spider infested poly cotton sheet! Won’t be shopping here again.
Never ever have I been to a better organised Vinnies. The clothes there were all in size order with colour coordinated coat hangers! And the kitchenware section was huge and varied.nGreat Vinnies!
Very nicely organised and categorised items. I am into books and the book section is more categorised like kids, science, romance.., which makes it easy to search for book, novel. The store is clean and staffs are friendly and happy to help.
As a solo parent, I will no longer be visiting op shops anymore. The prices are through the roof. Yes, I do understand they fund programs and assist people however, thrift shops used to be a place where people who were struggling could also pick up a bargain. After seeing a plush toy at $60 and a painting at $120 alongside much which was priced at or just below RRP for Anko products... I've come to the conclusion it will be more financially beneficial for me to stick with my local buy nothing group but shop at Kmart/reject shop. I would prefer to help the community, but I can't justify $8 for a coffee mug when I can get a new mug cheaper elsewhere there only positive is that it was a well organized shop
Always find the best stuff at vinnies in Belconnen. Quality control on point, nothing “too far gone” like other places. Nicely decorated, prices are very fair. Staff are absolutely lovely and always happy for a chat which is really nice. I always end up leaving with way more things than I planned for but never go over budget
