Beautiful little cafe in the heart of Ararat. Tasty large portions of delicious food. Strong full bodied coffee. Friendly staff with great attitudes. Highly recommend a visit for a coffee of some food.

Best Sicilian apple cake I have had.  Coffee is very good as well.  Great combo.

Very poor customer service, we waited for our food to arrive for 45 minutes, poached eggs were practically boiled, bacon was burnt and very tough. Coffee was very average too. We do not recommend.

The owner was so rude, to the point where my partner and I had to leave before we even sat down. Do yourself a favor and check out s.e.d.e cafe a few doors down... delicious food and amazing service! Vines was a favorite of ours for a few years but I see now that their customer service has tanked.

Terrible customer service. Waited an hour for food to arrive, then owner laughs at the “misunderstanding” when showing us the receipt and offered no apology or offer of compensation despite us checking on the food multiple times. Hopeless communication between staff, avoid like the plague

Delicious brunch and the perfect spot to stop on the way back from the Grampians! The others enjoyed the big breakfast which was fabulous and I enjoyed a vegan smashed avo which was wonderful. Good coffee. Lovely staff and very helpful. Thanks Vines - we will be back

so very disappointed especially as i had a visitor to town. i had to ask for glasses rather than plastic water glasses. No menu on tables. No condiments. My pancakes were undercooked and my visitors hamburger was just mediocre. Wasnt even asked if we would like anything other than water to drink. ..Certainly wont return nor recommend.

Not only great service but exceptional meals. A real surprise gem, will go back!
