Had an excellent lunch here 2 persons, 34 nzd, Chicken Tikka Massala, Chicken Eggplant Musheoom curry with rice and 2x Garlic Naan, no drinks middle of feb'20. Very friendly staff and excellent food, reocmmended!
Lovely spot, friendly. Fast, reasonably priced. Best biryani I've had in a long time.
Did not enjoy the food, it was extremely spicy, quantity was less of vegetable curries, the fried rice was dry and not at all tasty. We informed the waiter about the quality of the food, but he was not concerned and said that yes it is served that way only.
We thought it was pleasant enough, nothing amazing and certainly nowhere near "the best Indian we've ever had" as 1 or 2 other reviewers have mentioned. The 45 minute wait wasn't great either with the excuse being that they had a lot of takeaways. 2 1/2 stars.
Popular venue for takeaways last Saturday so quite a wait however well worth it for Village india's great selection and delicious food. Thank you
We love this place! Last place we ate before lock down and first place we ate after. Couldn't recommend it more. The food is stunning and the staff are delightful! The food is consistently wonderful, we especially love the nann.
