Food is pretty good. I really enjoyed their Egg Roll and wada. And for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is not really friendly. The ambiance is not very welcoming and charming.
A small Sri Lankan/Indian restaurant. It is in rows of shops next to the petrol station.nVery yummy food. I have been to here a few times, my kids love the authentic Srl Lankan food hoppers.nI got to know this place by word of mouth from my friends. On one occasion, I met the owner. Surprisingly, he is from my town in Sri Lanka.nThere are not many parking spots here. However, you can park on the parking spot on the road close by.nThumps up
Food is excellent no doubt at all. Me and my wife went there few times.nWent there last saturday to enquire about catering order for our son’s birthday party and the girl there at the reception, explained us really well. she was very humble and polite. We were really happy with the food already and we got impressed by the service standards of this place as compare to the other restaurants.nnBut unfortunately, am giving two stars just because what we have experienced this week not even once but twice this week. First on wednesday and the girl working there was extremely rude to us and she was in hurry and she overcharged us with $36.60, luckily we got the receipt and i went back and i showed her the bill and she gave us money back but she was so rude when i went back to ask her about the overcharged amount as it was her mistake so there was no point to be rude with customer. But we just ignored this thing.nBut just after two days, we went there this afternoon, to buy some snacks, and to give our catering order, but the girl that we spoke to about our order last week, staff said she’s not available today. So we decided to speak to the owner to give that order but we thought of ordering some snacks first because we were starving but god knows what’s wrong with the staff here, we waited there for about 10 mins and the girl started serving us and then she left us half way and went inside and we again waited there and she came back and started serving other customer but we were still waiting there to complete our order, we were so disappointed that we sadly had to leave the shop without buying anything and giving our order.nwe really liked village hoppers food and service before so we didn’t wanted to write the review but the way we were treated by your staff, i had to bring this up. I would advise the owner that you really need to train your staff about standards of customer service or else you will loose your customers.
I really like this place. The food is tasty and the service is good. My only issue is when you ask for mild for the kids the food is still really spicy I myself like it spicy but kids can’t handle it as much. Last time I went, the music was really loud. It’s not a big issue and I will continue to go here for eat-in and takeaway.
When I ordered a fried rice a boy confirmed within 15 to 20 min , when I come there after 20 min order not inplaced . It takes more than 1 hr for getting fried rice Eventhough busy time55 minutes is unacceptable . Service is very bad no response to give the kitchen , 2nd time happening from the boy who attending in the reception.All the girls take care well . No issues at all.
