Stopped off in Airlie for a couple of days on the way to cairns. Absolutely loved this cafe, we have been for both breakfast and dinner, well price, service is outstanding and food quality is excellent. The hot rocks are a must try if you’re visiting!

Hot plate is a 400 degree rock where you cook your meat yourself. This is how you get exactly what you want. It's also fun to be part of the cooking yourself, but don't touch the rock with your hands. It will burn you.
