Bathurst 1000 weekend so good coffee was a must to get things going. This place has it all. Fresh bread, cakes, bagels and more. Coffee is hot and tasty.nA must stop for a rest or pick me up.
I will be back for more!nnA great menu to explore for breakfast, lunch or even dinner.nnThe food is good quality nnService was fantastic, friendly and active staff nnBeautiful and spacious atmosphere, it even had a real fireplace.nnGood work
First visit to the Village Bakehouse and it won't be the last. Grabbed a chunky beef, double cheese and bacon pie and it was a great choice. Beautifully cooked chunks of beef in a delicious thick gravy with bacon and cheese throughout. The only downer was the cheese and bacon on top was a little crispy.
Came here for the first time and the place was a buzz. nnOrdered a pie and sausage roll. Both were very tasty. On the way out we decided to get a treat and picked us a custard tart which was nice. nnThe thing that put a damper on the experience was the price of their finger buns. 4 x finger buns for $10? We were stunned by this. nnThe loaf of white bread however is cheaper than your regular supermarkets, but dearer than a traditional bakery. nnNeedless to say, due to the costs of everything, we won't be back. nn#ExpensiveBuns #Disappointed
Unfortunately not the same quality Sandwiches as the Dubbo branch which I always look forward to visiting. Ordered two of the turkey and cranberry sandwiches without aioli. When we got the sandwiches they were bathed in aioli and there were 2 very small pieces of turkey on the sandwich. When we let the staff know they offered to remake the sandwiches. But we were then told they had run out of turkey and offered ham sandwiches instead. When we received the replacement sandwiches they had been made with a different bread that tasted quite stale and were not edible. For $9.50 a sandwich this was very disappointing, particularly after expecting the same quality fresh and nicely made sandwiches that the dubbo branch makes.
