Great location, friendly staff. Breakfast included in the room was delicious. The room itself was well appointed and clean, however there were a lot of marks and pealing paint on the walls. Probably needed a bit of love for a luxury hotel. Otherwise we very much enjoyed our stay. Thanks Rooms: 4/5
My husband and I stayed here four days in Feb 2023 while we had our boat out of the water at a near by marina, it was a business trip for him and a retreat for me. The staff is very polite and helpful. The pool was fantastic, I enjoyed it twice during our stay. The eggs benny was outstanding. Late afternoon they light a fire in the fireplace in the living room. I highly recommend this lovely Villa.
Beautiful location, peaceful, comfortable, though we had only 3 pillows between us which was surprising. The staff were great and friendly and the food was good, although the portions were quite small. The common areas are stunning and so was our bedroom.Rooms: 4/5
The location was perfect. Room nice but needed repairs. The bed which should have been a king and pillows were shocking, so uncomfortable. Breakfast was lovely. Restaurant was closed. No lift or air conditioner. Only opening doors to tiny balcony but no fly wire. The people in front of us on checking out were told they would get charged $100 for getting makeup on one of the thin, cheap white linen towels. Supposedly there was a note in the towel basket??? The staff were lovely but so out of their depth.
The ‘deluxe double room’ is certainly not deluxe. Pretty hotel on the outside however the room was extremely disappointing. We paid $100 per night to upgrade as we were on the bottom floor next to a public use toilet. The updated room was much nicer. Staff were lovely.
The views for my wedding were absolutely breathtaking, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. However, I cannot recommend the villa manager's service, which I would rate 1 out of 5. Unfortunately, the manager charged us a significant amount for catering without our consent. We had only sent emails inquiring about food and drinks, and never confirmed any specific canapés. Despite this, the manager went ahead and confirmed the order without reminding us, leading to us exceeding our budget significantly. If you plan on visiting this villa, I highly recommend double-checking with the manager to avoid any surprise charges. Otherwise, it seems she may be inclined to overcharge without proper communication.
The hotel and view are very nice. Beautiful piece of architecture. Forgot our booking for dinner, so we had to wait while they got the table ready despite only one other couple sitting in the restaurant. Very small menu and wasn't all available and not that good. The big breakfast the next morning was one of the most disappointing breakfasts I've eaten, very stingy portion sizes. The bed was the most disappointing thing about my stay. $400/ night and you get an old clapped out matress with springs that are shot. It was a real shame because the room was outstanding. Maybe upgrade the fridge too, i had to switch it off through the night because it was so loud.
What a great location! Definitely felt spoilt to be able to stay in a salubrious accommodation, at a stunning location with great service. Loved the indoor, heated pool. Well worth it.Rooms: 5/5
After my third attempt with covid, work and unforseen building event finally was welcomed by fabulous staff. Lovely stay and for a moment it felt like your stepping back 100 years in Spain. Restaurant well worth the $75 pp. Enjoyed our stay. Thank youRooms: 4/5
