We stayed one night at Villa Capri Motel. The ground floor room we received was small and quite basic. With tiled floors and a rear window, the atmosphere felt cold and uninviting. The bathroom was accessible, which may be useful for some, but not needed in our case. The snack bar is closed for an unknown time and the pool is tiny. Acceptable for a short stopover, but not recommended for a longer stay.
The beds were very comfortable and the location was excellent with plenty of different food options. There was ample parking and the area is small enough that there was very little issue moving any luggage.nThe rooms could use a clean as there was dust on the walls and ceilings, and the table in the kitchen area was somewhat sticky, but this is not an issue if you are only planning on staying a short while, as we were. The beds and towels were clean and freshly washed.nThe staff were very friendly and helpful, and the tv worked well and had great access to a variety of channels.
The room was great and so was service and location.nhowever the front doesn't look like that now and there was a group of family either side of us who wanted to sit outside and stole our chairs and didn't wanna give back, so we couldn't sit outside.
I did not enjoy my stay here- I had a random man banging on my door at midnight which was quite scary as a solo woman traveller. I informed the staff and they did nothing to support me.
This motel is a truckers delight - feels like they are driving thru the room, Jake brake and gear changes all in the comfort of ya houso commission styled motel cubical
