A nice restaurant with a diverse menu: all of dishes are served in a really nice appearance with the taste "real Vietnam". I've been here quite many times around 5 times per week but still can't explore all of dishes here :D but they're all tasty.
Got takeaway from EatClub which was decent value full price would have been steep. Had the Crispy Skin Chicken Tapioca Noodle Soup and Rare Beef Pho. Broth was flavoursome and chicken was tender with overall generous portions. Only little downside of experience was the extended wait 6:19pm was the advised pick up time , got pushed back to 6:38pm and waited till 6:52pm before finally getting our order. Would be happy to return again.
The food was quite good! The Pho was $16, and the broth was definitely a thicker, richer and heavy broth compared to the ones that I usually have - as they are usually light. The Famous Bun Cha Hà Nội was $25; was not bad but didn’t feel like it was worth it. Would go for the pho if I come back here again! Ambiance is okay, a lot of seatings. No split bills - one bill per table.
For lunch time the portions are large, prices reasonable and friendly staff. Not the most authentic Vietnamese food I had in Brisbane but totally worth a visit.
We had some of the dishes here like Vietnamese Special Pho, Crispy eggroll and Bun Cha. Everything was good and they tasted wonderful.
The waiter was extremely impatient and not very helpful. We felt rushed. The whole dinning experience was not enjoyable and negative. The hokkien noodles were very dry and bland. The spicy pho was tasty.
Near Chinatown. Gets busy at lunch time. Food was hot and fast. Tastes ok. I would not going out of my way to dine there. But if I am in the neighborhood would not mind come again.
Our group really enjoyed our Thursday lunch at Vietnamese House! My chicken curry was delicious! However much smalĺer than other dishes! The spring roll was crunchy & the dim sum was very tasty! THE CRISPY CHICKEN WAS BEAUTIFUL TOO! I highly recommend the $13.00 lunch! Great fast service as well! Well a year later my group went again. My beef satay was awesome. My friend was allergic to onions & he ordered another meal & I enjoyed his basil & chilli beef.
Really nice food. Loads of gluten free options which was great. Would be cool if they had a lunch menu as you pay the same amount for lunch as if you had dinner there. Staff were friendly and the restaurant had a nice open vibe to it. Will be back for a dinner sometime.Food: 4/5
I have been coming to Vietnam House for years & the food is always good. Even though there were only 2 staff on duty on a sat evening, they were so quick & so pleasant. Most of our food was excellent as always, except for our red curry with lychees. I actually ordered the duck,.but got the chicken. The curry itself was delicious but we had a few pieces of chicken that was raw..I had one piece in the restaurant & the waiter was so apologetic. We did have the rest as takeaway & the next day, there was yet another raw piece..I am only bringing this up so the restaurant is aware that the pieces that were raw were the pieces that were cut really BIG. This is literally the 1st time I have ever had this at Vietnam House since it opened & I am sure it is a one off.
