The greatest hospital experience. The nurses and doctors of this hospital are the most patient, caring and professional I have ever met. Answered all my questions to the best of their ability. Always treated me with great kindness and care. Much appreciation going out to Emily, Ishan, Jenny, Vy and Jasmin. These nurses are a real treasure. Thank you all for taking care of me during my stay.
I recently had the privilege of experiencing the exceptional care at the Victorian Heart Hospital when my grandmother needed a medical procedure. From the moment we arrived, the doctors, nurses, and all the staff demonstrated remarkable professionalism combined with genuine warmth and friendliness. They took excellent care of my grandmother, ensuring she was comfortable and well-informed throughout. Every step of the process was explained with clarity and detail.nnThe hospital itself is bright, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, creating a calming atmosphere that feels far removed from a typical medical environment. My grandmother’s recovery room felt more like a hotel suite, complete with a beautiful view of Monash University, which really lifted her spirits. Additionally, the coffee shop on the ground floor serves delicious coffee, a small but wonderful addition that enhances the experience even further.nnI’m incredibly grateful for the outstanding care my grandmother received and highly recommend the Victorian Heart Hospital for anyone in need of heart-related care. Thank you to all the amazing staff!
I was admitted last night at the Victoria cardiac hospital for a cardiac issue and I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of the care I was given. On top of being highly trained they all had excellent manners. It was a real pleasure to be treated there and I came out with a full understanding of what the issue was with my heart and 3 recommended solutions in the future. I feel reassured and relieved. Thank you to the doctors and their staff fornthe quality of their outstanding care.nThanks to the Australian government to have built such a great hospital.nAlain Dupuis.

Dropped & picked up a friend who had Ultrasound done & the feedback was very positive. The rest of this review is just general info & about parking. I had a good look around in main foyer & outside - sticky beak curiosity as this Heart Hospital was opened by the State Premier recently on Feb 2023.nnWhile the rusted, grill metal stacked box exterior might look avant garde foreboding - the interior is bright & spacious with floor to ceiling glass. There is a Cafe behind the meet & greet staff desk. Emergency admission for heart patients only is immediately on the right. Monash Uni playing fields & sports pavilion abuts this hospital on the other side with easy access walkways to get here. Once the green landscaping becomes established & mature - it will definitely enhance the surrounds.nnPARKING: 10 min drop off/pick up is in front of main entry door - only 3 bays!! 1 for disabled parking. So if you are self driving here to admit yourself into emergency - Good Luck!nMain parking is underground to the left of main entrance. Rates up to $27 full day - do refer to other reviews for hourly rate info.. If you have an eligible concession card it is $11 all day. Best to enquire ahead in case of rate change. Free parking? Be prepared to walk 15 to 30 mins. Try your luck on the Clifton Hill streets diagonally opposite & make sure you read the signage for No Standing zones. Once you get up close - walk up 2 sets of gravel steps or traverse the upward sloping road to main entry. Will get your heart pumping!
