shop where all kinds of kitchen utensils are gathered in one place, a place where you can see and purchase various famous dish brands with your own eyes. It is located in the basement of the QVB building. A place where you can see a lot of pretty designs and cups, and the price is usually on sale, so you can buy them at a low price.
Always love popping into 'Victoria's Basement' to see what lovely 'pretty's'... I got a new insulated bottle, for a great price. But a little disappointed at the lack of unusual/novelty milk jugs available. Only really two designs. I guess it all depends what's in these days. ..it did feel like the store was lacking some personality. No design choices there colours. Very bland.
This review is for Victoria basement online business. Very poor customer service! I bought online the following item listed on the website as “Professional Induction Paella Pan”. Upon receiving the item I noticed that the bottom is convex and not flat as it should be to cook on induction plates this is basic knowledge in the profession. I contacted the customer service by email to notify them of the mistake and get a refund as it is a misleading listing. I was told by return email: “it may not be suitable for some cooktops due to its slight curve”. No solution or apology was offered to me, no responsibility was taken for the misleading listing. I would have to pay for the item to be shipped back in order to receive a refund not worth the effort. I have bought similar items elsewhere in the past but this is the first time I see such poor general knowledge of products sold and poor treatment of a customer. I recommend to everyone to keep away from this particular business. There is a lot of competition with accurate listings and good basic knowledge of the products sold.
Full of great discounts on fabulous brands, chocolates and many imported foods. Still out of my budget but if you're in the market for great treats or presents this is a great store full of opportunities you probably don't need! Bit cramped and crowded and I felt a little virus unsafe.
Place was crowded lots of lots of things markdown for the up to 80% off sale. I couldn't find the first thing I but I track down a helpful staff who check that I had then checked on the computer and then went off out the and came back with the item. I went looking for the beer glasses and eventually found them. I was so excited I forgot my phone so after I I paid for everything I left and then realised I left my phone. Of course it was so cluttered that no-one noticed it and when I got back it's untouched. Lots of fantastic bargains I might go back tomorrow.
The prices are great, the products are great but the packaging for delivery is such a waste. A box of bubble wrap for a pot set that was already boxed, why not just put a delivery address sticker on it and send it as it is. Considering most the items were boxed and not breakable, they could have been put in a box without the bubble wrap. I understand bubble wrapping the glasses but I think the rest was complete overkill. Very disappointed Victoria’s basement doesn’t care more for the environment and that’s why they get a 3 star rating
I’m always nervous walking through the store and as of late even more so. Just way to many boxes stacked on each other, one wrong love and it could be an expensive visit. That said, they have a large range of good nicely centrally located at decent prices.
Honestly thought we were going out an exit then got a surprise that it was a store but quite happy with what bargains we managed to find , definitely worth a stop in and check things out you never knownwhat you may or may not need/find
Amazing quantity of all the kitchen products that probably no other company stocks!
Get your time and you will find what you need!! An huge range of everything for you home and kitchen in particular. Price good and a lot of promo.
