Fantastic park with wide range of facilities. A new playground for kids was recently opened in October 2022. The park also has a small basketball court and BBQ facilities.nPerhaps one of the best things about the park is that it is home to the local Kew cricket and football clubs, who are quite strong and competitive in their local competitions.nThe park also has great areas for Sunny picnics and good access for walking or bike riding.
Beautiful playground that has just been upgraded! Nice little track for scooters and balance bikes, very cool. The playground suits different age groups from 6m+, toilets and BBQ tables are available. There are quite a lot of trees around the area, not too much direct sun which is a bonus point.
Great playground. Hays Paddock was closed for refurb and we ended up here. A great playground for a variety of ages. There are lots of climbing options, a flying fox, great slide and sand pits. There are also bbqs. Parking is a bit limited inside, but street parking also available.
UPDATE : FEB 2022nThe park is fully fence, a big work is ongoing.nn____________________________________nnA lovely park for picnic or spend some times with kids, friends, family or dogs. Any park with off street parking is great! Easy to reach, just right off High st, Kew. Has a botanical garden with a lot of palm trees and old trees. Huge open spaces no worry about distancing, huge slide for kids, BBQ, playgrounds hopefully they will have more equipments and shelters. Toilet inside the main cricket pavilion.
This end of the park has a smaller playground for smaller/younger kids, but it has enough bbq but and shady picnic benches. Able green spaces, basketball court and near the green oval to kick around some balls.nThere's this lovely short tree with low-laying branches that are an absolute perfection for kids to physically climb it's branches without incurring too much damage on the tree or the kids themselves from falling. A natural playground, I'd say.
