Hi,nnI would like to raise a concern regarding my recent experience at VicRoads Horsham.nnI visited at nearly 3:30 pm 01/05/2026 to convert my licence, but unfortunately I was not aware that an appointment was required. While I understand that booking may be part of the process, I was hoping for some guidance or assistance at the counter.nnI tried explaining my situation multiple times to the staff member lady in black shirt. I informed her that I work Monday to Friday and my job runs until 4 PM, which makes it very difficult for me to find time for an appointment during weekdays. I also mentioned that Saturdays are the only possible option for me, but even then, timings are very limited as the office closes early.nnDespite there being no customers at the time and the centre not appearing busy, I did not receive any assistance. Instead, I was repeatedly told “you need to book an appointment” without any effort to understand my situation or suggest an alternative solution.nnI was genuinely seeking help, even if it was just guidance on how I could manage this given my work schedule. However, the response I received felt dismissive and not helpful at all.nnI kindly request you to look into this matter and encourage staff to provide a more supportive and understanding approach, especially when customers are trying to explain genuine constraints.nnThank you for your time.
Went in, took a number, got served in under 5 minutes and walked out 5 minutes later all sorted. Quick, polite service.
Not busy -- pleasant staff that take your money for the Victorian Government --- where that money goes is anyones guess as little is spent on the country roads over Victoria.
Big shout out to Jess i had a problem with a car transfer. Jessica worked through it fixed everything best vic roads experience ever thanks again Jess if everyone is like this here it would make you want to move here
Although we got sorted very fast, we had a rude lady. If you can't talk to people in a friendly kind manner then you should find another job. Seems like everyone I've spoken to brings her up. Why she still has a job one would not know
