Nothing is mediocre in Vic’s Bakehouse. Their cinnamon bun is exceptionally satisfying...I love how it combines coffee cream on the top and soft, spongy bun in the middle with sticky and buttery bottom. Such rich textures n flavours I’ve rarely tasted in NZ...Wish I could live in Chch and next door to Vic’s
A colleague brought and bought me one of their cinnamon buns... Wow! I'm not a big coffee fan so believe me when I say, even though these have a coffee icing, they are STILL worth five stars! I can't wait to get into the bakehouse myself and see what other delicious baked goods fill the shelves!
I go in here fairly frequently and the bread is consistently really good. They have a massive selection of different breads. My favourite is the almond croissant, and the coffee is an added bonus.
