Great care over the years with my ITP collie Jasper. Jasper developed a blood condition and his body stopped making platelets and wouldn't stop bleeding internally. He went through a lot with his 4 blood transfusions and had a lot of side effects from medication but with the help from Sarah the internal medicine specialist and the loving nurses Jasper is now in remission but continues to go for annual checkups. He always runs straight up to the door when we pull up out front.
Caring , talking me through every step, very kind and understood why I was stressed - not somthing I have been through before.nnMy dog actually got sad when she had to leave.nnHad an allergic reaction , gave medicine and injections.nnI would have paid anything and it hasn’t as bad as I thought. Thursday late night.nnwas in an out in an hour or so.
Have been down to VRH on multiple unrelated occasions, and each time have been put in capable and attentive hands to quickly action the care needs of our pets.nnThey are forthright and transparent about the needs of the animals, and in the unfortunate instance you need to make hard decisions for your pets, the team is extremely compassionate and supportive.nnWe can't thank you guys enough for giving us all the medical help we needed, as well as your tactful candor when the time came to say goodbye to Aela. We will truly never forget how much compassion and care you showed us
The VRH staff are friendly and caring, and the explanation of the surgery was thorough as was the follow-up. They treated our hyper-vigilant husky very carefully and considerately.
We had an emergency with our cat Joey and made the unfortunate decision to have him put down at VRH. The vet was so lovely, reassuring and compassionate throughout the whole process. She explained all the options of cremation/burial and gave as much time as we needed to say goodbye. Afterwards we unexpectadly received a card with some of Joeys footprints in the mail which was greatly appreciated. I'm so grateful we chose this clinic, they made an awful experience a lot easier and stress free
