I just have to give this lady bus driver a mention. We are a retired couple living in Pakenham. And on Wednesday's we use public transport. 7:30am train to Dandenong, then bus to the hospital. Well today was a freezing cold day, and we were sitting waiting for the bus around 8am when a lady bus driver walked past us and said goodmorning, then asked what bus we were waiting for. We said the 802, she said are you going to the hospital? As my husband has splints on his hands. We said yes, she said come on my bus I'm going that way too. She was driving the 804 bus. She called out to us to let us know when our stop came up. And waited until we'd crossed the road in front of her bus. A smile and a wave. She made our day. Thank you lovely lady
It wasn’t until I had a serious incident with them that I realised how inept they are.nI use a crutch while walking. On Monday 19th January at 7:10pm I was exiting the 828 bus that pulled into Dandenong Station it was heading to Berwick.nAs I’d got off the bus I fell and hit the concrete hard. As I was on the ground the bus driver immediately shut the door and took off. It’s just luck one of my legs or feet wasn’t in the path of the bus tyres when I was on the ground because it would’ve run over the top of me.nIt was other people at the bus stop who came to my aid, helped me to my feet and checked I was ok.nI rang the bus company the following day 20/01/2026 to raise awareness the bus driver at the very least could’ve checked I was ok. I left a message and a woman called me back a short time later.nAt first she was talkative & chatty and stated the buses are equipped with cameras and she could view footage. But once she realised the seriousness and lack of assistance I’d received from the bus driver she stopped talking and went silent.nTo give someone silent treatment because you don’t have the mental capacity to communicate like an adult is a really, really childish tactic.nThat woman needs to grow up and wake up to herself immediately.nA competent business would at least offer to speak to the bus driver about duty of care just a quick “are you ok?” instead of taking off in such instances, view the footage and offer to call me back to confirm they spoke to him.nBut to just give silent treatment is pathetic.nI really don’t have any well wishes for that bus driver or that woman.
Tuesday morning l was catching the chadston 862 it was running it was running late l was trying to get the drivers to notice me so he wouldn't so l yelled he told me not yell at him he wasn't my servant but he was going to drive off on me . I am so sick of bus drives doing this to me. The bus time was chadston bus 862 it was to leave at 905 .
I had a wonderful experience here during a super stressful period, after leaving my laptop on a bus.nnI dealt primarily with reception, and lost property. They were helpful, empathetic, and open and clear about what they could do and what the plan was. Ultimately they were able to track the driver, who had found my laptop, and they arranged for it to be brought back to the depot/head office for pick up.nnThank you so much!
My son takes the ventura school bus to the schools sport fields and when he comes backs to school he has been late 2 times. The bus that two times has been delayed for over 20 minutes.
