Story

Established in 2007, Venita on Cumberland, was the realisation of Maria Pia Lucchetti’s dream to extend the charming hospitality offered in the Lucchetti household to the residents of the Pascoe Vale community. Maria, a fiery mix of Italian Spanish and Venezuelan heritage, spent her lifetime sharing her delicious homemade meals and trade secrets with friends, family and regular customers.
In 2016, it is this same dream and passion for good food shared with great company that has inspired Maria’s son, John, to keep the flame of his mother’s legacy burning. It is with absolute delight that we welcome you to Venita, we hope you love it just like we do!
