I regularly come here for curries and rice. I love the eggplant and potato curry, vegetable Madras, spinach and potato curry. Everything is delicious! Prices are affordable and portions are sufficient. Staff are all lovely. They are also very generous in offering afternoon specials where every box of curry and rice is $5. It's definitely a place I'd recommend to vegetarians!
VEGETO is one of the restaurants/ Takeaways at Queens plaza food court!! It is Vegetarian Indian food place. They have nice amount of food choices and it gets packed during lunch time. I tried Cheese Masala Dosa with Sambhar Lentils soup & Coconut chutney - Dosa was Perfectly made with great flavours and the texture was great as well. Lentils soup wasn’t really good compared to what I have tried - too runny & Bland but the chutney was great and it went perfectly well with DOSA!! One of the other reason for 4 star is the Guy probably owner over the counter was a bit rude and didn’t really wanted to assist in suggesting any dish as well! DOSA is one of the dishes that everyone must try!!
Hands down THE BEST masala dosa you will ever have! Little bit of a wait but my goodness it is beyond worth it, hence the 5 stars. Cant get over how good it is. Id buy 10 if I could fit them all in! The owner is an absolute gem too. Polite and genuine!
One star is for amazing customer service! The attendant was so helpful to me and lovely. One star is for having so many vegan and gluten free options. Unfortunately I had to deduct two stars because one of my curries was just home brand frozen vegetables floating in flavourless soup. Very disappointing food, but you know. If you're in a hurry and desperate for food you can actually eat, come on over. Also pretty affordable, but considering I could have made a better curry at home I still felt a bit cheated. Maybe I just came at a bad time?
Very good customer service! Ordered Dosa. Surprised to see coating of garlic and red chilli paste" inside the medium spiced" Dosa. Gave a feedback to the owner saying that we were not expecting any coating to Dosa and being unsatisfied with the taste, we couldnt eat the Dosa. Immediately, as a goodwill gesture, we were offered a complimentary mild spiced Dosa, where he said there will not be any coating for mild spicy. The taste was really nice and went well along with the chutney and sambhar. We had a full satisfaction of eaten a well tasted Dosa. We did see and appreciate Vegeto's attitude towards customer satisfaction, as being their top most priority.
I went to this restaurant two weeks back. We ordered spinach masala dosa and idli/vada. Dosa was good. Idli tasted stale and vada was very oily. The sambar was not tasty too. I received my order quite late and still idli & vada both were cold.
Love this place for classic fresh vegan Burger ! Delicious, can always manage to squeeze in those last few chips! Staff here are always friendly and upbeat. Glad you guys are around :
I was super excited when I heard about this. The possibility of a great vegetarian restaurant right in the CBD seemed too good to be true. It was. The curry was watery, and the serving was 80% rice, which sucks because the food isn't cheap.
Delicious, cheap, filling, vegetarian and the owner is a nice guy. I've been here 3 times in 3 days, and his food is the only thing that looks appealing compared to the same old burgers and wraps.
We had masala dosa there...the dosa was crispy and pretty decent but the Sambar was awfully bland. It almost tasted like some soupy gravy and not at all like Sambar.
