Interesting bar + restaurant mix. Cocktails are really good - heavy on the alcohol, easy on the ice. The food is pretty standard and on a satisfying level. I'm quite the regular there and I think it's about the overall experience that Vanilla room offers.
This used to be quite the funky little bar, perfect for cocktails and conversation with a few friends. My last experience was the exact opposite. Poor service, and a DJ deliberately cranking up the volume until we were forced to leave.
Best food in leichhardt, you have to try the barramundi. I have had it atleast 20 times. Absolutely amazing.
