The gelato and ice cream are really good.nGreat value especially during happy hours, $6.5 for a large scoop!nThe flavours are special and it’s a nice experience to be a bit adventurous.nIt is also a special experience to have ice cream on a floating ice cream shop.nBought some freeze dried ice cream for my friends but I haven’t tried it.nThe staff is nice. The shop is always crowded during night time, very popular!
The selection of ice cream flavours was great. I enjoyed the lavender white chocolate and banana caramel. Each person gets to try two flavours before purchasing. Would definitely come back for more as the chocolate flavour tasted good, too. There are a few seatings despite the space being quite small. When we came after dinner, there was a queue with a few people but not a long wait.
There's a reason why this is one of the best if not the best ice cream when you're in tassie!!! This is a really cool spot to have gelato / ice cream after a walk around Hobart. They have interesting flavors that honestly hit the spot! I got the Salted Honeycomb and Praline and Cafe Latte. I also got to taste some of their limited flavors like Lavender White Choc and Lemon Curd, both were delicious too!!
YUM. Best gelato I had in Tassie, and so worth the price. For around 7AUD I got two gigantic scoops of the chocolate and honeycomb, and the quality of the gelato was excellent.nnThe leatherwood and pepperberry also tasted great, based on a sample I tried.
Cosy, water front shop. Always a line at the shop but line moves pretty fast. Good variety of flavors and very tasty and creamy ice cream. Definitely try out their vanilla ice cream, simple yet super delicious.
