Doctor was extremely rude, started lecturing me on things that had nothing to do with why i was there. Honestly worst experience i’ve ever had with someone at a medical practice. I hope he sees this.
Doctor was good but a very rude receptionist - will not be returning. I sent an email on 11/04/23 and still awaiting a reply been over a month
Unfortunately the staff at this practice let the good doctors down. I went to this practice for many years as I really liked my doctor there however I endured numerous issues with the final straws being: 1. Me trying to get a referral sent across to me via email after there was an error with details on it - none of the reception staff could figure out how to do it and ended up sending me someone else’s very personal medical details. I raised this with them and no one did or said anything about it. Huge breech of privacy and shocking attitude. I ended up having to go and pick up the referral from my doctor because literally no one could figure out the scanner 2. Complete mismanagement of my son’s and my first postpartum checks, resulting in me having to pay for another appointment at another practice because what happened at Vale was so unacceptable and no one got back to me to try and fix the problem or offer another appointment to make up for it even though I’d apparently been escalated to the head nurse - never heard back 3. Some of the older reception staff are just so rude. Over the course of waiting extensive amounts of time in the waiting room despite having a pre booked appointment you usually wait one hour plus at Vale I have witness such poor behaviour by reception staff for example: an elderly gentleman who was clearly wearing a hearing aid stepped closer to the counter to obviously try and hear what the staff member was saying and was loudly abused by the staff member due to COVID “distancing” This is just one example that sticks in my mind because it was so out of line. I’ve also had staff members call me to chase a payment that I’d already made and then demand I send them the receipts because they don’t keep records of payments - sorry what?! How does any business not keep records of payments? The woman on the phone was incredibly rude and patronising when I’d literally been to the practice three times since the time she claimed the payment was missing, paid for all appointments even the one they did not complete correctly It’s such a shame that the other staff members are letting this practice down but unfortunately management don’t seem to care, given when you raise issues no one ever addresses them or even respond to you at all.
Yesterday morning I got a positive Covid test at home. I am in a risk group with diabetes and is 57 years old. I rang vale to get advice from a doctor regarding antiviral medication since it is important to get early to be effective. After being put on hold and had to explain my situation 4 times the receptionist told me a doctor will call me back tomorrow, I insisted to speak to a doctor today since this is urgent medical matter, she simply hang up. I then rang a small medical centre instead, had a doctor returning my call within 15 min, After 15 min consultation the antivirals prescription was at the chemist. I have been a patient for more than 31 years with vale this is not the first time they let me down but definitely the last since I will not return. It’s a real shame because they actually got some really good doctors. customer service is non existent and I do not recommend going there.
The team at the vaccine clinic are all extremely professional, welcoming and efficient. Had a fantastic experience getting my vaccine, the whole process was quick and seamless and the nurses and reception staff are doing an amazing job. Thank you all especially Fiona, she was very calming and organised!
Doctors are good, especially Vincent Chang. Call wait time for reception is terrible, online bookings are clunky. I had an urgent bed ridden issue that needed pathology testing. I then have to wait 8 days to get the results to know required medication. Surely they should have a followup 5 mins planned for when results come in. Vale need to be more user experience focussed as it stinks
I received my Covid vaccinations from Vale. Both appointments went perfectly. The receptionists, nurses and doctors were super friendly, punctual and informative. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Very highly recommended.
Awesome Staff. The whole Team at the COVID Vaccination clinic were operating flat chat but remained extremely professional, polite and friendly. The level of efficiency was incredible for such a small facility and so few people. Well done.
Long waits every time. Most recent was 1 hour 20 mins for a referral. Is it any wonder people are reluctant to go to the Drs. Not an ideal experience and will certainly make me think twice about going again - not what you want when it comes to health.
Both my wife and myself are lucky to have met Dr. Vincent Chang. He was recommended by a close family friend and he made us felt at home straight away. He took care of both of us and he was absolutely professional. My wife has just migrated and she has been worried about her health. Dr Chang made sure he did everything to help and reassured my wife of her medical conditions. He was thorough in his assessment and took an interest in our health. Something I have not personally experienced from doctors for a long time. So happy to have found a really good GP who puts his patients first.
