Beautiful Mandir of Lord Swaminarayan with many historic prasadi vastu artefacts of Lord Swaminarayan. Ensure to see the Akshar Bhuvan, where these artefacts are kept. The Mandir also provides simple free meals to all 3 times a day, and larger meals as well at a small cost. The accomodation at Harikrushna Utara by Gomti Lake is very nice and modern, the utara accommodation next to the mandir in Gopalanand Swami Bhuvan is slightly older and less modern. Also note that there are a lot of mosquitos in Vadtal, and so do take precautions beforehand.

Vadtal is located around 75 km from Ahmedabad. Very good place to Visit with Family. Enough Car parking is available. Food is also available inside the Temple. You can have free Prasad or Paid also as per your choice. Best time to visit is evening so you can Attend Aarti. God's Siksha Patri is written here as said. You can visit Old library where we can see God's encient items they used which Stored very well.
The Swaminarayan Mandir at Vadtal is very impressive, beautiful, neat and clean, and very well organised. There are clear signages everywhere: from parking to all other facilities. The temple itself and its premises are very well maintained. Devotees from near and far throng this place. Darshan is at fixed hours. There are souvenir shops, counters where one can donate, take prasad. Most impressive is the food service there. Anyone can have a good lunch there for just Rs. 25 because it is like prasad. Served very systematically. Also for those who cannot pay, the same food is available free of cost. This humanitarian sprit is really commendable.
Swaminarayan Mandir, Vadtal Devanagari: श्री स्वामिनारायण मन्दिर, वडताल headquarters of the LaxmiNarayan Dev Gadi are located in this temple in Vadtal.There are three main shrines in the temple the central shirne of this temple is that of Lakshmi Narayan and RanchodRai. On the right there is idol of Radha Krishna with Swaminarayan in the form of Hari Krishna and the left has Vasudev, Dharma and Bhakti.

Divine and Beautiful Temple. Specially the design, color and architecture. Comfortable stay and food. For accommodation you have to inform the Temple Management in advance unlimited food at only ₹.25/- prasad you can shop outside the temple. Specially Papad and pickles. Must try Marble Soda...
The holy temple of Lord Swaminarayan The temple is situated in the Vadtal. It is the main shrine of Laxminarayan Dev Gadi. There are three main shrines in the temple; one is Lakshmi Narayan, and the other is Ranchod Rai. The second one is Harikrishna Maharaj with Radha Krishna, and the third one is Vasudev with Dharm Bhakti. People worship Lord Swaminarayan every day in this temple. Everyone inside the temple feels the sacred vibes. According to my opinion, this is one of the best places for peaceful prayer and devotion.
