Awesome place to shop! Been here twice now and I still haven't taken any photos of the inside.nnKey tips when shopping here:nn1. Bring a bag for your items. It helps if you want to shop in the back section where you pay $10/kg.nn2. If you want to shop the $10/kg section, they accept cash only. Also, minimum is 1kg and then you pay whatever the weight is after that.nn3. Allow minimum 2hrs to shop here. It's like time flies quicker than normal in here!nn4. There is a public toilet in here. Just ask for the key at the front counter to use this. Honestly, a lifesaver!nn5. The shoes are awesome. If you are after a pair of runners then this is the place to buy a great quality second hand pair.
Absolutely Love this place. The back is the best section. But remember to have cash because they don’t take any other payment. There’s always something for someone. Lots of kids toys and books, etc. The front part does accept all payments but since the cheapest item is $10 I don’t go there anymore. Parking is horrid, mostly at the back are spots if you’re lucky. Or just be patient and someone leaves in 20-30mins for a closer spot to the door.
I have been coming here for yeeeears and all the clothing is great and reasonably priced. But what is going on with your shoes? Some range from 20 to 70 bucks! I remember when you guys used to sell shoes for $8 a pair. With your clothing you have one price for any kind of dress and one price for any kind of top and etc. But with your shoes they all have individual prices. You are an outlet are you not? If you want to sell them for more than 15 bucks take them to individual shops or you are going to run out of space lol. I see shoes there that i saw 2 years ago no jokenThey are ridiculously overpriced for an outlet warehouse. You.ll thank me later:
Uturn is my favourite thrift stores in Sydney, I've been here probably about 10 times already and there are so many great things about the store!nnThey have racks of clothing with many great deals, as well as an area in the back where you can buy clothing per kilo. I once found a dress still with a tag on for $129 and I ended up paying $3 for it!nnMy closet is filled with amazing pieces that I found in Uturn, work clothes, summer dresses, wedding guest dresses and linen pants! I have a different outfit for any social event now and did it without having to pay retail prices!nnYou can even donate your own clothes here as they have the red clothes bins in the carpark, it's all very sustainable and eco friendly. This store plays a huge role in promoting the concepts of reuse and recycling. By giving unwanted items a new life, Uturn helps divert waste from landfills and promote a circular economy where products are reused and repurposed rather than being disposed of.nnOne downside is that it can be hard to maintain organisation of the clothing, which I understand because of the amount of staff they have, it is also full of shoppers everyday and clothes get scattered, so it can get quite messy. BUT, other than that the staff are helpful, you get points on the rewards membership every time you shop, and you are also being very eco friendly when you purchase from here! I highly recommend this store!
Very cheap clothes definitely come here if you’re looking for a bargain - $8 for a pair of jeans and even deals where you can buy. 3 for $24. Tops are also very cheap around $6 I believe. Though this place is pretty far out it’s absolutely worth it.
