Utopia Square is our largest store in Perth and one of the first Utopia stores ever opened! It was through the incredible vision of the founders of Utopia that we were able to convert the previous nightclub bar into what Utopia Square is today, a huge cosy space divided into two areas depending on your mood! The Reading Corner offers an intimate experience while the Main Hall is sure to lift your mood with the bustle of diners and the latest music videos playing in the background. Utopia Square is also the only Utopia Store that offers our whole range of products from our famous bubble tea, cakes and bread to a fully catered vegetarian restaurant and karaoke booths upstairs. Drop in and see if you can spot some of Utopia’s historic design elements that were created during the very beginnings of UTOPIA.

This restaurant doubles up as a vegetarian/vegan restaurant and a bubble tea shop to drink there or takeaway. There's also karaoke upstairs.  The food here was surprisingly good, specializing in Asian/Taiwanese dishes where all of the food is vegetarian or vegan.  The dishes include dishes with plant based descriptions, but also dishes with the use of mock meats to recreate meat dishes suitable for a vegetarian/vegan meal.  I was especially pleasantly surprised at how the vegan pork belly dish tasted - it even had layers in it like the meat and fat layers of real pork belly, though you could tell it wasn't actual pork belly.  The only minor issue about our visit was the service, where one of the wait staff was somewhat unfriendly.  However, service was still efficient and all was good with our order and food.  There is also a fair amount of seating here, with seating able to cater for larger groups on large round tables that have Lazy Susans. The atmosphere here is quite casual and relaxed with a couple of different sections offering dinner table seating through to lounge seating.  This restaurant is definitely worth a try if you're vegan/vegetarian or looking for something different without necessarily feeling like you're missing out on meat.

Ll9 and mango smoothie! Utopian! Consider wearing orange - especially next Utopiaday, August 6, 2017. Back again - a rice dish and an apple juice this time. Such a large choice of vegetarian and vegan fare. There are stairs to climb to get to Utopia. And then there was a sizzle plate and coconut juice...

i'm not vegetarian or vegan but a lot of the food here is nice. i reckon i've had half the drinks here and almost all of the individual rice and noodle meals. service is efficient and they have a lot of environmentally conscious initiatives which is good

This is an excellent and unique place. The food is reasonably priced, quick, comforting and delicious. The menu is full and wide. The staff are tirelessly polite and friendly. The customers are diverse. The location is perfect. Whenever I imagine leaving Perth, Utopia comes to mind and here I stay. Am I overplaying it? Nope.

Fantastic Food! So tasty mock meats. I would suggest to reduce plastic items. Unfortunately too much plastic usage.

Had a really nice vegan meal here. Tasty, fresh food. Big portions and decently priced.

Karaoke and bubble tea are very good. Staff are always very helpful and provide excellent customer service. Great variety of items such as baked goods, vegetarian dishes. And frozen vegetarian meals. They also have pretty cakes for all occasions. Good place to hang out with books provides for people who like to read.

We come here so that we can share meals with our vegan/vegetarian friends. There are so many options, it's amazing and makes it hard to choose. I was pleasantly surprised by the fried yam balls love them and the satay tofu is delicious. We will be back again to try more

Love the bubble tea there! I'm a vegetarian and always go there to have a meal with friends. Although last time ordered a hot pot, the soup was too salty for my taste, and the gas cooker extinguished one minute after the meal was delivered. But still like the place :

Nice, diverse and interesting little area. You can get some GREAT food here and several different types of "Bubble" Teas, with or without milk. Karaoke sessions are also able to be booked for parties and they cater for groups of probably up to 40 or 50! Though you DO have to climb stairs the old way, one step at a time, lol, as there is no elevators, I think it is worth it. Good for a planned night, I think that if you started out here with light munchies and a nice fruity drink, and to get the social barriers brought down a bit, a few rounds of Karaoke, then out to have a bit more rigorous fun in one of the many great clubs within walking distance... I think if you framed it the right way it would be a lot of fun for the kids and a great peer bonding experience for all, including mums and dads, and step-parents if applicable...
