I'm new to the area and needed a cut, never got one at a school before, but this place was great! A young lady by the name of cassidie cut my hair and trimmed my beard, she did an awesome job. And for anyone who is worried, the owner/lead instructor is observing the whole time, and I watched her step in and help several times to ensure nothing irreversible happen. So go down and support these students any chance you get.

I cannot stress enough how disgusted I was with myself after waiting 4 hours for them to make my straight hair wavy. I looked like a Jackson 5 member. They have done plenty of good hairstyles for other people/types of hair, it’s just my own personal experience with them a couple hours ago shook me to my core so bad I had to write this review for any small sort of revenge because I can’t look at myself the same after what they did to me. They’re teachers are actually really knowledgeable in what they do, don’t take that away from them, I was just so bewildered by my hair after what I showed them as an example vs what I got, I had to do anything to reap any feeling of good to compensate for the time I spent looking in the mirror wondering how I could possibly go in public. Sorry if this review seemed harsh, they aren't as bad as what this makes them out to be I was just still mentally recovering from the experience.Service:&nbsp;Hairstyling

Bailee did a great job cutting my hair, if i lived closer id definitely go back to get my hair cut there more often. Very clean facility and very friendly staff

I've been to a few cosmetology schools over the years, and this one was brilliant. The decor of the building flows well, the students and instructors are very welcoming, and they know their trade well. I could easily recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a little pampering for a decent price. Aces in my book.

I was a student at American Hair Academy and it was a great experience! We are taught by our wonderful instructors  how to be professional out on the floor. I learned so much in the year that I was there, mostly because of the one on one that each student received from the instructors. I would recommend this school to anyone that is wanting to be a cosmetologist around this area.

I recently received a haircut from one of the students at this location. The haircut was everything I needed it to be and the hair stylist was wonderful, However the "teachers" were very unprofessional I overheard them demeaning other students. Which I find to be horribly distasteful in a place where the students are suppose to be learning I also observed them walking around looking like they hated their jobs. I will not be returning nor will I be recommending this location.

I was very pleased with my haircut.  I thought they all were polite and did a great job. Give them try, you will be happy!
