Story

Untapped Fine Wines aims to ‘untap’ fine wines from around the world and make them accessible to the Australian market. Our focus is on family-run, artisanal wineries whose passion and love for viticulture and winemaking is revealed in the quality of their wines.

With a selection of over 400 wines from Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Spain, Untapped Fine Wines is Australia’s Spanish and South American wine specialist. Our range is a showcase of the depth and diversity of these outstanding wine producing areas.

From Argentina, we offer both the emblematic Malbec and Torrontes varieties, as well as international varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Tempranillo to tempt your palate.

Our Spanish portfolio is resplendent with various styles of the famous Tempranillo, but also showcases some of the best Cava, sweet wines and Albariño Spain has to offer.

Chilean wines are famously elegant and refined. Renowned the world over for producing outstanding Cabernet and Sauvignon Blanc, they also produce, almost exclusively, the world's Carménère (their emblematic variety) as well as fantastic aromatic whites such as Gewurztraminer and Riesling and wonderful Pinots and Syrahs.

As for Uruguay, you may not even know they make wine, let alone outstanding wine! Tannat is their cornerstone, but they are also famous for their incredible whites. Interesting fact: Tannat has the highest level of antioxidants of any other red wine. Brings another meaning to drinking to your health!!
