Unox has been very supportive to myself and the Australian Pastry team over the past few year. They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best training with their ovens and supported us in various ways. The oven we used was the Baker top and that is impressive on the amount of control and precision we had with the baking. we used it to steam bake, keep our sugar hot for the show piece, melted chocolate, macarons and meringues. A really good quality price! strongly recommend!
Unox ovens and the Unox team never cease to amaze me! Not only are we saving money through reduced energy consumption, and higher yields, but increasing sales through better quality, consistency, and availability. From 1 Unox Oven 6 years ago to now 10, best decision I’ve ever made! Cannot recommend highly enough, any other Oven is a poor business decision!
We were lucky enough to have been provided the Unox Bakertop oven during our training for the World Pastry Cup. Really fell in love with it. We did a lot of product testing with it including steaming, making meringues and keeping my sugar warm and it showed great consistency everytime. The team at Unox were not only supportive but were so friendly. Great people to deal with. Thank you again Unox!

I love my UNOX. It's rare for me to write a review about anything, but sometimes things are exceptional and worth making the time for. I bought my UNOX oven and prover 5 years ago, 2nd hand and still have it. Its working as good as the day I got it with more functions than I could possible need. Quick to reach temperature, recovery time is great and the sound is so quite! The self cleaning feature does a fantastic job, like a brand new clean every time. Even cooking no matter which shelf, front or back. A year later I add to the set. The extraction diffuser, this is SO handy, no need to chop up the workshop for plumbing out, neat and tidy visually. Any service and advice from the team needed has been easy, as I currently work with them designing my new kit for my new venture with a more extensive range. I can't recommend UNOX more highly, if you have experience in the industry you know the heart and soul of any kitchen is the oven.
I have worked with Unox Australia for several years and have had real culinary success with my Unox cheftop. The mind maps menu panel is easy to program and produces amazing results . As a Corporate Executive NPD chef there is no room for error. Our oven has become an essential partner in our business and gives my team assurance on yield maximisation and best cook result method across, braising, roasting, grilling, steaming and smoking. The service of Unox Australia is on par with the oven excellent. They are always available and give me real time on the phone guidance for best cook result when needed they really know their products. I have also collaborated at many Foodservice shows with Unox Australia with culinary demonstrations because I can be assured my product will be produced at its very best for our clientele and the support I receive is first class. I had never written a negative review of anyone in my life but Unox are so bad I feel people should know the truth. Unox require Italian wiring but no major warnings are on the boxes so if you don’t know you can destroy your oven before you get started. It was just mentioned in passing to me another bakery blew up an oven. We have two bakertop six stack ovens and a six stack prover. We have had to spend money on repair after repair which has added up to around $4,500 and counting. Powerzone come out chasing a domino of problems all over the oven from probes setting off warnings to fans not working and when that happens the back of the oven turns red hot as the heat elements run around the fan. The nut on the fans is very small and wields on with the heat so the only way to fix a broken fan motor which happens was to cut it out with an angle grinder. If it was design with a large nut it would be easy to fix. The circuit boards fail and are around $1,800 to replace. The sales staff lie and lack integrity. When questioned about the truth the management just say it is your word against theirs. It is spectacular Sam the manager came into one of our cafes while on holiday and said he would look into it but nothing was done. If you are looking at getting an oven don’t buy a Unox. We have two ovens and a prover and they all have problems again and again. Not one of them is problem free. The leak water out the back. Look if your heart is set on buying a Unox you are better to put $25,000 on a table and watch it burn then get another $4,500 for repairs and watch that burn. If you would not do that then don’t buy a Unox.
My business had 11 UNOX ovens on the go and I would only recommend Unox to serious bakers. No other oven allows you to bake so much in such a small footprint, which is vital if you don’t have hectares of space. The heat output is fierce preheating is quick and so you can turnaround fast and do crazy things in the middle of baking like crank the oven to 260c to finish with a dark crust. Hardly any hot or cold spots, we used a 16 tray oven and could bake on every shelf. They are as smart and intuitive as an iPhone once you have spent the time learning how to use the controls. Time learning how to use the different functions is time well spent. Of course with all this complex technology you have to treat it gently or it will eventually show problems. Once the team were trained on how to properly maintain the ovens we got very few problems. The service guys always came out pretty much the same day. My tip is to ensure that installation is carried out correctly or there may be ongoing issues. And do everything you can to not void your warranty, like for example using non-Unox cleaning detergent.

These guys go above and beyond and are the true ‘gentlemen and gentle women’ of the industry and I would have no hesitation recommending UNOX Australia and their fabulous ovens to anyone thinking of buying a new oven or upgrading their current one!
