I just have to give a huge shoutout to one of the staff members at this apartment—Trisha Paladhi. She’s absolutely amazing! She’s so warm and genuinely cares about us students, always putting our needs first.nnI remember this one time we went hiking together, and she made sure everything was super organized. She was constantly checking in on everyone, making sure we were safe and having a good time. It’s little things like that that made my stay at UPC so memorable.nnAnd when it came time to renew my lease, she went above and beyond to help me out, giving me really solid advice. Honestly, if you’re looking for a place to stay, I can’t recommend this apartment enough, especially because of her. She’s the best!
The rooms are good but, the thing is it takes time for any maintenance stuff to do in our room.nBut what upsets more is if you loose your key room u have to pay 65 dollars for one use after staff hours so, like these there are some extra money.nBut overall to be honest i think this will be affordable compared to most of the hostels in city!
I have been staying at ULPC for nearly 2 years now and on to renewing my third year.nnLooking at previous reviews, the current state of the rooms are purely created from the tenants lack of cleaning and the lack of house keeping responsibilities in shared rooms.nnI have previously stayed in a 5 share apt here and I am grateful I shared it with others who clean up after themselves. This is my current state in a Studio Double Room and it is always neat and tidy and if and when there is ever an issue with water pressure with the taps… the maintenance team act on it very efficiently!nnULPC is a great place to stay while studying!
I just moved back to China from here A room for six people Someone will secretly use the drawer I put in the kitchen I had my bottle opener and scissors stolen Someone stole my cocoa powder and scattered it all over the drawer If caught by me I will definitely break that person's hand Takeout and supermarket delivery have also been stolen on the first floor My roommate never cleans the bathroom or public areas, but if you ask her, she will say she has already cleaned them Above all of these. Apartments have no responsibility or management measures
I’ve lived here for 1 year and I wish I could say it’s been a decent experience—but the truth is, unless you enjoy being ignored by management while your food gets stolen, look elsewhere.nnI’ve reported multiple incidents involving my flatmate stealing food and violating basic shared space boundaries. I’ve sent several emails, attached photo evidence, and provided detailed descriptions of the situation. Not once have I received a meaningful response. No action. No accountability. Just silence.nnAt this point, it feels like management is more interested in collecting rent than providing even the bare minimum level of support for tenant issues. I shouldn’t have to live in a place where my groceries need a security detail.nnIf you’re considering moving here, just know that if problems arise, you’ll be on your own. And if your flatmate decides your fridge is their personal buffet? Good luck.nnThey market this place like it’s managed—what they mean is ‘managed to avoid every responsibility.'
