This is a good little place to eat next to the beach. The fries were salty and perfect. I love that the schnitzel came with the gravy on the side. Kim was sweet and made sure we had everything we needed.
They never disappoint. Caesar salad with chicken and a side of fries with gravy. I also got a Chocolate big boy shake but I forgot a photo. Always my go to!
Been here 2x in a week. First experience wasnt great. Our waitress came across quite rude which made our experience not a great one. Had to ask for cutlery and side plates and the waitress didn't seem very friendly when we asked for these. Dumped the plates infront of one of the guests and walked away. Came back again today and it was a whole new vibe. Service was fantastic. Super friendly. Over my last two experiences we ordered a range of things. Burger, pancakes, caesar salad, fried chicken and large chips with gravy. Iced chocolate. Iced coffee. Milkshake. And hot chocolate. Both times the food were good. Friend chicken serving i felt was a little small for the price you pay. But thats my personal opinion. Tasted delicious tho! The burger was great! Chips and gravy was so delicious, would be ideal to have a larger gravy jug with a large bowl of fries. Iced drinks were so good. Especially the iced coffee reminded me of starbucks!! And the drizzle of honey was a nice sweet surprise. Caesar salad is so yum! Chicken was super juicy and it had the right amount of flavour. Pancakes were super fluffy and super tasty! We will definitely be back.
I wanted it to be good but I to wasn't great. Had a end of year brunch, eggs not available poached and both were overcooked and hard yokes, I would have sent them back but I was in a group and it ruins the timing when eating with friends. Also I've seen this before elsewhere but to serve 2 eggs with one piece of toast, it seems a bit miserable to me. Wait staff were new and didn't know the menu but on the positive side they were attentive so I am sure that will improve. The coffee was good though and I liked the vibe of the place.
First time there for our group of 4 and we had a great experience. Food was really great that was obvious by quick consumption and empty plates. Staff interacted well and there was a bit of ribbing going on. To finish 2 of us had the soft ice cream served in a glass rather then in a cone it was really yummy. Our group would definitely go again. Vegetarian options: Didn't note that they had this option would need to ring and ask if thinking of going. Kid-friendliness: Can't say that I noted a portion of foods for kids on the menu. Parking: There is an empty gravel area next to the restaurant that is used for parking or good amount of street parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Would be abit difficult to get a wheelchair in and there are no designated disability parks anywhere close.
I got over the 'no poached eggs' when the scrambled eggs arrived. Perfect.. a proper portion of smoked salmon with excellent coffee. Delicious and served by attentive chatty staff. Recommend breakfast/brunch
Beautiful food. Friendly and prompt service. Love the Gorgeous George, which is their take on Eggs Benedict. Served on a layer of smashed potatoes and with a silky hollandaise to finish.Food: 5/5
Good amount of dog friendly space undercover. My dog wouldn’t touch the dog treats they sell! But the human food was great. Good service too.
Sunday 11/2 A group of us came here as part of the celebrations for our 50th years since starting our nursing training here at ChCh Public Hospital. The staff bent over backwards for us and even made us warm muffins specially to say congratulations.. All meals were delicious Would highly recommend ‼
