Absolutely terrible. Management or cook or everybody must have changed from what it was in 2017.  We were shocked at how the dish came. $17 a plate of food that looked like it was thrown onto the plate from a meter away. Attached photo.  Zero presentation.  Zero customer service. Appalled it was called Indian food.  This was not how the food was in 2017.

I absolutely love this place. Honestly my biggest complaint is that there was no honey available!  The staff were so incredibly lovely. We felt really welcome and looked after. The food was incredibly good value, so cheap! It was also delicious. Some of the best Indian food I've had.  The whole atmosphere was really nice and I really enjoyed my meal here. Thank you.

Amazing authentic Indian food, super friendly staff who make sure your meal and experience is fantastic. Very good prices and portions, I always leave ready to burst.We come here as often as we can and regular date nights are held here for the wonderful atmosphere, equally great to take our 3 kids who absolutely love the butter chicken.

We just tried the restaurant today. The food was amazingly good and authentic indian food. We had butter chicken and cauliflower with nun. Will definitely come back. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely enjoyed my experience here. The food was outstanding, one of the best curries I've had. Chose the traditional Thali meal, with 3 curries, rice, naan, and dessert. All the food was cooked perfectly, and tea selection was excellent. Highly recommend.

In short, Under The Mango Tree is authentic. I ordered goat biryani & tested a forkful of rice; the rice must be delicious enough on its own that one wouldn’t care if there were any meat or not. And when the meat is perfect as my dish was, what heaven! I left not a single grain on my plate. My wife had chicken tandoori done just right with crisp outer, and tender inner. We took home Samosas which were of course super. Now my mission is to tackle the menu one dish at a time.

Fantastic service, quick and easy meals to eat in or take away. I grabbed the Butter Chicken, it was absolutely to die for. I also grabbed a garlic naan. Cannot rate this place any higher than 10 but one happy customer.  Will definitely be back :

Their thali for $15 is so worth it. It’s enough for one person and has one naan, white rice, 2 Currie's and daal.. dessert and yogurt are included as well.. Always smiling friendly staff are so welcoming

Amazingggggg, fresh naan and all of the Curry’s are delightful. Best place in Joondalup to get your Indian feast fix! Oh and who could forget their wide selection of tea too they have available to purchase. Would recommend this place to everyone!
