Umu Restaurant Bar

Nice ambiance, food presentation and service was quite good. Very welcomed to this restaurant. I liked the pizzas and the burger. The mussel chowder was ok. Would come again if I visit Coromandel.

Yum yum yum! If they have the baked cheesecake on the specials menu then get it it’s soo yum and enough for 2! The beef burger was also delicious and my hubby really enjoyed the pizza. Service was great too from friendly waitresses.

I would like to give this place a good review...but after a 40min wait for our starter!!! , we had to leave to catch our ferry. Thank you to the waitress for blaming us and charging us for our drink. Great service!!! The good times are over guys....foreign tourist wont be back for a good time yet. Avoid if possible!!

Aboslutely wonderful staff, the lovely staff member still managed to keep a smile on her face when a grumpy man slammed his hand on the table! She's an absolute saint, she deserves one of those fantastic tumeric lattes!

Great food , very nice friendly staff

Disappointed to find that our favourite toastie had been removed from the menu but we shared the beef and bacon burger - very tasty, followed by delicious banana cake & coffee. Staff were friendly and the cafe is very clean tables were cleared and cleaned as soon as they were vacated. A nice experience overall.
